This War Continues On
Bullets fly on by
While families prayers are held on high
To the ones that aren't close by
But found on the otherside
Going shot for shot on the frontlines
While families hold on
This War Continues On
With the brave ones standing in the
blistering sun
They show their honor by willing to die
Espically with snipers firing from the enemy side
This War Continues On
With families coming undone
Because a loved may be flat on their back
Lying, dead in the hot desert sun
This War Continues On
To Those who return to soon
Aren't seeing but shown honor by Taps and a 21 Gun Salute
While family and friends surrond the coffin and cry
Because a loved on just died
This War Continues On
The unit carries on
Because if they dont they, as well could be gone
As everything around gets hetic quickly
Nothing to grab on so they can hold on tight
Only thing is a brotherly bond in the place of Arabian Nights
For This War Continues On
The life of one
Will seem like a lost cause
Because this war seems like
It will never be won
For This War Still Continues On
