Almost
Shall I beget the life I would have led
To hope that you shall wake thine eyes?
Or ought I place each foot ahead
And see what in the future lies?
I test the boundaries of my resolve
Deliberations coursing through my mind
While petals wilt, while raindrops fall
It seems that I have nothing new to find
Thou art the birthing sun in morn
Encompassing the wide expanse of grey
Of all I see, your face adorns
The nightingales, the floors parquet
So long as you are everything I see
I hope that one day you shall notice me
