A Lone Wolf
The wolf runs from his death full of great fear.
He runs with all available power,
to escape the approaching hunter near.
Day and night he runs, ev'ry waking hour.
The hunter swift, gets no sleep, needs not stop,
to catch his breath, he shall not relent 'till
his prize he captures on the mountaintop
where he shows strength by beating the wolf's will.
The lone wolf has no pack to help him fight,
this hunter he must overcome alone.
He must stop the running, get rid of fright,
for soon the hunter destroys his senses honed.
It's then the wolf his power he'll reveal,
overtakes true evil and shows true zeal.
