Poker Face
When meeting the eyes of a charming soul
What wordless story should my eyes reveal?
One of innocence, with you to cajole
Or heedlessness, no secrets to conceal

My story was once of naivety
I was ready to love anybody
 Full of vigor and spontaneity
But the one fowl ruined everything for me

No longer can I trust your innocence
Your smiles make me question your motives
I have to second guess my common sense
Your nature no longer holds me captive

I will maintain my dignity and grace
You will never see through my poker face
