As smoke in fog, I pass your charming eyes,

So pathetic to think you could love me.

An ache in my heart I cannot disguise,

Crushing thoughts of you, from which I’m not free.

A smile that would ensure evil’s favor

My absorption is futile to defy,

Your compassion does not ever waver.

Your benevolence one cannot deny.

What must I do to attain your regard?

Our interaction seems impossible.

My feelings for you I cannot discard.

Butterflies are always unstoppable.

Time progressing can be a therapy

Or you may just feel the same empathy.

I do not wish to tell you what inspired me because I believe poetry is meant for readers to interpret what they need from each poem and work. So read and I hope you will enjoy.

"Poets utter great and wise things that they themselves can not comprehend."

I love it!
