Gone so quick
Those bright city lights were so alluring
They filled me with courage, made me daring
I didn’t know what it was, just a yearning
I’m so sorry for all the staring
My fantasy became reality
Without a thought or care, time flew by
Being without out you was plain brutality
In our future, there was no goodbye
Sweet kisses, and tender touches
Words drizzled with honey
I was full of blushes
Love, and life was oh so sunny
Knowing the truth, I have no pride
What really happened there, I will always hide.
