I'm Ready to Fly
When death calls me, summons me to follow
I’ll not in fear and self-regret squander
For why should I in past mistakes wallow?
Questions asked before I cannot ponder
Death stands at the door and silently waits,
I’ll walk through the gold gates that lead to light
When I must go, I will not question the Fates
I’ll simply fly and greet the angels so bright
What a time I’ll have on Heaven’s seashore
I’ll sit upon the rocks and greet the sky
With heavenly peace, who could ask for more?
When one can spread their wings and start to fly
When I die, I’ll finally escape life’s toils
No more captured by my sins and soils
