Two Little Birds
Two little birds
perch upon my window seal each day.
They sing a cheerful song
and then fly away and play.
The first little bird
has a voice like no other.
As for the hue of the bird
well, the bird hasn't any color.
The second little bird
is a deep shade of blue.
It is the darkest of them all
but the prettiest of them, too.
The two little birds
come together and harmonize.
One sings in a low key
and one sings in a high.
Those two little birds
are so different from one another.
However, I guess opposites attract
and that is why they were made for
each other.
