Between 2 trees
10 feet away
You hear not the birds or buzzing bees
They respect where the lonesome body lay

But people don't know
As they walk upon
The ground it is far below
For it is a silent as the morning fawn

Soon away will go the mist
Longing,begging, to remain
With the ground it has kissed
Above the quiet lane

Oh how I wish the ground could keep
Above my lonesome body in mute sleep

This was a poem that I had to write for my language arts class when we were studying sonnets.
