I know my horse. She bucks.

I could probably be someone who rides the broncos at the rodeo.

I have no fear though, because I am who I am, I just have that kind of luck!

People flip out even though I just feel the jolt, I know
You must think I’m crazy.
When I get on in the saddle, I feel calm; I know what she is capable of.
She doesn’t scare me, plus she knows I’m not lazy.
I know she means well, she is a gentle as a dove.

But she has what seems like infinite power! I know she bucks.

I know it’s wrong, but just sitting in the saddle feeling the jolt, I slide

Forward. I usually never fall in the muck.

But when I do, I know that she’s on my side.
Whatever she does I know she doesn’t mean.
Because we are just that kind of team.

This was inspired by my horse. She's always been good, but every horse has their days when they just have to buck with you on them.

When horse and rider trust each other, it's wonderful - and it's obvious, this writer trusts her horse a lot! And riding is always an adventure.
