Tearing Utopia
Our words already frozen, long ago
The days and nights forever lost in time
In between life and death, an intense climb
Taking away all we believe to know
Time goes flying, impossible to slow
To perceive every second is a crime
Stuck in one snapshot of life and rhyme
Not having a place to let your life grow
Our lives were set in place when we were born
The way the world seems from our prison cell
We constantly search, feeling lost and torn
Protected in our isolated shell
Left with sweaters and shoes that has been worn
Getting to know each rip and hole to well
