Forbidden Love
A kind of addiction which brings us close.
Enabling my mind and soul
To be free as the tides unroll
This love, please may I have another dose.
No matter how many people oppose,
This must be seen; a future foretold.
To be released, that is the goal.
We are a solid mass, nothing to decompose.
And though it is the hour,
To smile and laugh and share,
Don’t forget the bitter glare.
Some do want the sweet and sour.
Treat love tenderly and with care.
Above all it has the greatest power.
