I Lost It All
Have lost all that I care, all that was rare
It vanished like the sun on a sunset
Can’t go after it even if I dare
There is nothing I can do but, forget
Was deprived of all that is bad and good
He took it all without word or a trace
That’s normal, that’s all him I knew he would
I’m done, it’s through why can’t I hit erase
There was just something that was not precise
Was it me, was it the place, or the time
I’m deaf I should have taken her advice
Never fall for it, was just that onetime
He took all of my love without a word
Like a bird flew south with my love unheard
