Do you think he sees me here
I feel like I’m invisible to him
All I want is to hold him near
He always seems so grim

He’s an outcast, all alone
He rarely ever smiles
He never speaks to ANYONE
He’s separated by miles

But I can understand his pain
I’ve felt pain like it before
It feels like pelting rain
That shoves you down to the floor

I wish he knew I was close
To stand by him when he needs it the most

There is a boy that goes to my church now, who has had a rough life. He seems so distant he rarely talks and I worry about him. He always seems so sad and I wish I could comfort him but he doesn't really respond to anyone and I just wish he knew that I was there, you know?
