The Ocean Breeze

The ocean breeze whisks away the umbrella
Carrying it quickly along the sand
Crashing into a reading young fella’
Confused, he turned ‘round to scan
He saw a woman running toward
Watching as she approached his spot
She quickly exclaimed, “Oh Lord!”
He sincerely told her not,
To worry about it all
He smiled at her, naturally amused
And asked her name with gall
And wondered if the romance loomed
He helped her back to her lonely chair
The umbrella they would now share
