Forgetting the Lad
They lady sat quite less enamored
As the lad she loved walked away
Feeling low and hammered
“Oh dear” was all she could say
But love-struck was the lady
Determined was her heart
Feeling of doing something shady
She agreed to the situation she must part
As days went by
She became herself once more
Remembering she thought she’d die
And how he made her heart so sore
But alas the lady forgot the lad
And never again did he make her sad
