My Distaste with Your “My Wedding” Board on Pinterest
Love is overwrought and extravagant:
Wedding dress, flawless ring, the whole ordeal.
Every girl a princess; none can recant.
The kiss makes it true, a so well-known seal.
We’re all wholly worthy of love’s appeal,
We all deserve the rumored fairytale.
Love is bragging rights, pics to make you squeal,
The word “perfection” used to no avail.
But what is with this crazy rationale?
How dire to treat love like some circus show.
What a curious concept to downscale.
Love is simply that moment when you know:
You look into another’s eyes and see,
They accept all you could ever hope to be.
