Don't worry about it

Seeing the world from an entire different view,

Seeing only out of one eye instead of two,

You’re lucky you see any tint of color at all,

Some people only see an abyss, darkness and fall,

So you thought you knew everything before,

You keep consuming more until your sore,

Some people try to fill it, to forget it,

Trust me when I say I wont forget that hit,

In search of something to fill empty space,

Stop trying to make decisions out of haste,

Save for another place, another date,

You never know that day, it might be too late,

Some say that they wish you would have stayed,

Maybe it was just the way you played

The author's comments:
I wrote this when I was in an art class and played basketball. In the art class we watched a short cartoon about this little blind girl, but you didn't realize she was blind till the end of the video. Before the end of the school year, I had to quit basketball due to unfortunate circumstances.

Arise and be all that you dream - Flyleaf

Nice poem! It rhymes well, and has a great message. I think you meant "entirely" instead of "entire" in the first line, but other than that your poem is very good! 5/5
