In agony
All she hears are the shouts of agony;
She's running, running away from all the years of searing pain,
But, she stopped and halted. Its like all the gravity;
has left, and all she now hear is blood pumping through her veins..
Images passing through her mind so fast;
Tears flowing down her face, she has no say,
All the memories haunting her from her past;
And now death is knocking at the door waiting for its pay..
No one stopped to realize;
That her wrist were scarred,
She would fantasize;
of being released from these mental bars..
Too bad the knife didn’t cut deep enough in the skin,
Because then it could have been the last breath she let in !
