Society's Crime
People never take the time
Instead we care less
To realize the effects, of society's crime
WE are the ones who out this world in distress
Everyone is the same
On the inside
Its what people can see that puts us to shame
On the outside
It is never too late to show
The great amount of hidden love
But life isn't like dough
We hide it as if it is forbidden
Racism is what this poem is about
We all have it caged within us, without a doubt

This first started off as an English assingnment but then it became a lot than just an assingnment. We don't realize the effects of what actions we take. In doing so we hurt so many people. I hope that we start to re-think our actions, and treat everybody with the same respect as we do ourselves :-)
