She gazed upon his deadly perfection –
hypnotized by the life that he led.
He was remarkably dangerous and so the need for him spread –
it spread through her blood like a fatal infection
Oh how she wanted to give into that lethal temptation!
His translucent white skin, as pale as the dead
was a traitor to his soul which was encased in red.
His brooding and mysterious bad-boy complexion
made her yearn for a taste of the alluring night –
for the thrill, the curiosity…for something forbidden.
A fallen angel who could turn her from the light…
and take her to places dark and hidden.
From that forbidden fruit she took her first bite –
in this chess-board match the dark had the light overridden.
