One Day
One day I will be in your arms again
One day I will look in your eyes
One day we will be reunited again
One day I won't hear the beautiful people sighs
One day I will understand why she lied to me
One day I will be alright
One day I will find the key
One day you and I can dance dance together under the stars
One day I will believe
When I look outside I see all the cars
One day you will see me achieve
One day I will wake up and see your face
One day I will have your trace

I wrote this for my father. We were separated when I was six months opld and up until almost a year ago I had never lived with him. It was until my freshman year of high school that I talked to him for the first time. I know he really likes this poem, I would really appreciate it if you guys made this more special for me and made it so it gets published. Thank you.
