Walls
I long for an escape beyond the walls of this mind of mine. I strive to be kind, but how?
It's been like this so long... why try now? I've stopped trying to count the times I've cried out. I've stopped trying to fight this demon inside; 'cause I can no longer push him aside.
Does anyone see what's inside? How could they?!
No one is allowed inside these walls.
Maybe one day, the one who understands this numb gray will hear my desparate calls... before I eventually fall...
Show me the light. Restore my sight! My desire for light never ending, my own darkness seems infinite.
Have I been forsaken to this? To be forever corrupt by this apathetic bliss?
I am captive to these walls of fear. I long for a place far from here.
Here I stand, here I call.
Can anyone hear me from behind this wall?
