Just Breathe MAG
What a feeling inside of me, so light.
Almost like I can’t breathe, you squeeze me tight.
No air in my lungs, you smoke through the night.
You scream for help, but see no lights in sight.
You are crying, why are you crying? No …
I know it hurts now, but in time you’ll heal.
You keep screaming, “It’s so hard to let go.”
You say that it won’t but your heart will seal.
It wasn’t your fault, you couldn’t have known.
I lied, my asthma wasn’t controlled.
I’m sorry, it’s me, I threw my own stone.
All of your emotions will now unload.
Holding me gently as I watch over.
I was your charm, like a four-leaf clover.

This poem is about how Ive gotten my asthma under control, but how quick my asthma can go back to causing myself harm. Its easy to die when you can't breathe, especially when you were born with bad lungs.
