One day a bag sat at the door

The bag sagged to the floor

The bag heavy and thick

Was taken in and we took a pic

When opened we were rich

When closed money was in the ditch

This bag belongs to the bank

So all of our hearts sank

We returned it and went to the house

When we saw a bag not corn nor mouse

It was a reward of a large lump

We celebrated and bought a house with a pump

With water and even tons of cash

We realized we'd rather be poor and store the stash

We went to the older ways

Saving the cash for rainy days.

This was a piece I decided to make after watching the Grapes Of Wraith a movie inspired by economic inflation.
