“I have a dream” said the one Dr. King
In the midst of the racists and haters
He spoke his belief to “let freedom ring”
Against a world of discriminators
He opened up about his biggest dream
“An oasis of freedom and justice”
Despite how his life, to others, may seem
To end all oppression and injustice
Even with his best efforts and hard work
Not everything he wanted came to be
However he did lay down the framework
For a change that today we get to see
“I still have a dream” his words carry on
Yet the hatred he spoke of is not gone
