Ethereal Dreams
Crying, I am dying, sighing at life
Spiders crawling up my spine, I’m fading
my bony fingers, downgraded from strife
Hunger is flooding my world, I’m starving
Starving for food, and starving for some love
My stomach bellowed for mercy loudly
I looked down on earth, staring from above
My empty soul passed others longingly
Up here in heaven, where stars are glowing
I look down on earth filled with misery
I glance at my comrades, they are smiling
No trace of pain, sorrow, or witchery
And in these ethereal dreams I smile
Because this happiness can last a while
