"Teens Should Absolutely Be Tried as Adults When They Commit..." Review
In "Teens Should Absolutely Be Tried as Adults When They Commit Adult Crimes," hchs1259 argues the point that youth should be tried as adults it they commit crimes. I agree with hchs1259. Just because a person is young doesn't mean he or she doesn't comprehend what they are doing and the consequences their actions. Young or old, a criminal is a criminal. And no matter who commits it, a crime is a crime. People push for equality, so that should include equality in the justice system. Young people should not be given special treatment, and they should especially not receive help to put their actions behind them. Without discipline, other juveniles will not be afraid of committing crimes or being disciplined for their actions. Therefore, young people must be tried as adults for crimes they commit.
