Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
As a kid Jacob told many stories about Miss Peregrine and the peculiar children by his grandfather. There was a terrible death in his family, and it was like a shot to the heart for Jacob. For many months Jacob was depressed. His therapist suggested for him to go to the island that his grandpa always talked about. At the island Jacob found out the stories his grandpa told him were real and found a secret island where they are in a time loop. While spending most of his trip with these peculiar children he found himself falling in love. During this trip Jacob found out some very peculiar things about himself. Suddenly the peculiar children and Miss Peregrine found out some type of creature were watching them. Miss Peregrine put everyone on house arrest, and Jacobe was forced to make the most important decision of his life. Before making this decision he had to make sure his dad was safe. When returning to Miss Peregrine’s house the creature followed them capturing both Miss Peregrine and her friend. The kids followed them and got Miss Peregrine back. Jacob went back to his island to try to explain to his father what had happened, but he didn’t believe him. Jacob went back to the other island forever, and the 10 kids and Miss Peregrine set sea for their next adventure.
Somethings i liked were the love story between emma and jacob. I like how in the begging of the book, when they were describing the relationship between him and his grandpa you can feel the connection. I liked how Jacob risked his life to find out more information. Somethings I did not like were I did not like how in the end of the book Jacob let the other kids risk their life. I did not like how Jacob went threw Emma things.
I would recommend this book to people who love adventure.
