The main character in the story is a middle aged women Karen Krupp a normal house wife, she gets amnesia from a car accident that she had while she was running red lights and crashed into a light pole, her husband Tom Krupp, telling her wife what happens is trying to help her wife gain her memory back so they that her wife won't face jail time for her crime. In the process of trying to help her wife gain her memory back Tom finds out stuff about his wife that  he wishes he didn’t find out. As Rasbach said “Your wife is not who she says she is.”

As Tom was helping her wife things started to change for the worst in their life but mostly in their relationship. All kinds of people were going all up in Karen and Tom’s business like Rasbach, bridget, and jenkins. As Tom said “They were all over my street last night, the detectives, talking to the neighbors”.

I would recommend this mystery novel to teens and adults because the novel has some drama in it that makes the plot interesting to teens and it helps both teens and adults understand that they need to get to know their significant other or any friend better. For adults it gives a sense of mystery and it hooks them to the story and they might have something they can relate from Tom’s and Karen’s relationship. This mystery novel would not be appropriate for kids to read this book until they get bigger because this book has some vulgar words and scenarios that kids wont be able to understand. Something that I really like the way that all the different characters explained the situation they were in because of the accident. Another thing that I really liked was all the situations, they made the plot of the story very interesting and made the story go were it is, me being a teen I really enjoyed this book and so will you.
