Sacred by Elana Arnold
Sacred is an enticing book, filled with hope, support, love and so many more themes. Elana did an excellent job of representing grief and how to get over it in this book. The main character, Scarlet, goes through the loss of her brother, an eating dissorder and finding herself. Elana did an exceptional job with interwining horses and a spash of religion. Scarlet is a great role model, though she does get drunk at one point, she is truly an good friend and an strong woman.
Don't forget to read the sequel, Splendor.
This is truly a gracefull book.

I love the pair, Sacred and Splendor. I have just finished Splendor, and felt led to write a review that would impact other readers in their next book choice. This is a life changing book.
