Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase by Carolyn Keene
I have had this book for a long time and recently stumbled upon it while rearranging my bookshelves. As I started reading it, I was completely immersed in the amazing world of mystery. The book is about Nancy Drew, an 18-year-old detective, and her friend Helon Corning, who is just a few years older than Nancy. Helon calls Nancy to solve the mystery of a ghost at her Aunt Rosemary's house. At the same time, Nathan Gomber, a man who has threatened Nancy's father, makes an appearance. Nancy is torn between following the mystery or protecting her father
