If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Book Review of If I Stay
Book By: Gayle Forman
I recently read If I Stay by Gayle Forman. If I Stay is about a girl named Mia, who has an amazing talent. The problem is, she’s not sure exactly what to do with that talent. But one snowy morning, when school is cancelled, something happens and Mia is forced to make a choice. I loved how even though the book’s story line was through out just one day, Mia has constant flash backs that tell the stories of her past. I think the tales of Mia’s family, friends, and love ultimately makes her the person she is on the day of her big decision—if she stays.
If I Stay was both happy and heart breaking, and is a book I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fairly quick, easy, memorable read. If I Stay has a message that will stay with the reader, and a story not soon to be forgotten.
