Unwind, by Neal Shusterman, is an exciting thrilling sci-fi book about three kids who are running away from being” unwound,” a procedure that takes important organs out of kids and replaces other people’s bad organs. Connor, Risa, and Lev are unwind kids whose parents signed the form to get them unwound. They are running from their fate, destiny, and even their doom.
Connor did not know he was going to get unwound until he found the wavier form and three plane tickets but one was missing. Risa, has known her whole life that if she did not do anything important in her life she would get unwound and nobody would care or even miss her because she lived in a state home where unwanted babies go and grow up. Lev, a kid who was born to be unwound, doesn't care about it at all until an unexpected visit and some thinking over changes his mind. These three kids meet up and all have one and only one goal to stay alive until they become eighteen and become free and can’t get unwound.

I think that this is a fun, action-filled, cliffhanging book that will always want to make you read more that just a couple chapters each night he will also make you develop your own opinion and see if it’s right at the end of the book but with what happens I don’t think your opinion will be right.I think this book has some strange and sort of disturbing content and should not be read by kids in seventh grade or lower. I warn you though you’ll be on the edge of your seat throughout the whole book.
