The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket
What would you do if your younger brother or sister and you were at the beach and relative comes and says that your house has burned down and so did your parents. Well that’s what happened to Violet, Klaus, and Sunny in The Bad Beginning. Their lives have changed ever since their parents died. They have to go live with a very malicious person, Count Olaf who thinks he can boss around the Baudelaire children.
This book goes to “I wish I was reading a different book” to “I can’t stop reading this book. I guarantee that when your mom or dad says it’s time for dinner you are going to say 5 more minutes this book is going to make you read the rest of the series. I would recommend this book for 3rd grade or higher. The conflict of this book would be Character vs. Character because Violet, Klaus, and Sunny are suspicious about Count Olaf and they do not like each other.
I couldn’t stop reading this book after a couple chapters. This book deserves 5 out of 5 stars, it was made into a movie but in my opinion the movie was not better than the book. I think A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket is the best, Thrilling Series of books I’ve ever read
