Artemis Fowl Arctic Incident/Eoin Colfer

Graphic Novel

If you really want to become one of the best around, you have got to work your way up. Because if you don’t you might get caught.

This story is about a rich evil boy named Artemis Fowl. He comes from a line of thieves and crime lords who all have their own butlers. One butler knows Kung Fu, marksmanship, and fencing. He is the one born for Artemis. While in his secret lab under Fowl Manor, Artemis receives a letter that says to find a man in the arctic wasteland called Russia, and the man refers to himself  as “Father” as in the long lost father of Artemis. So as any fatherless boy he gets ready to go save him, but on the way their Artemis and his butler end up face to face with Artemis’s enemy a police elf named Holly short who last we saw was trying to take down Artemis but in turn failed. They managed to beat her move their way toward Russia.

I think the author achieved his goal because if you’re really into high tech stuff once you pick up the book you will never want to put it down. Some strength is the action in the story because it brings you closer to the story and one weakness is the ending because they should make it more interesting like put more mystery in the story.

One impression that the book left me was “wow that’s pretty awesome” and it also kept me suspense because of how the ending was put. One thing you should know about the book is that if you really like fantasy then this book is right for you.
