The Truth About Forever is a heart-wrenching story that reaches beyond the cliché love story.  Written by Sarah Dessen, the book follows the tale of a young girl, Macy.  She is a runner.  Her dad has recently died, but on the outside, she is an average girl with an average boyfriend.  She works at the library in the summer. 
Until she meets Wes.  And Deliah, and Wish Catering.  Everything is completely different than what Macy is used to.  The business is unorganized, yet it still works well.  Wes is not her type, yet they bond more than she could have ever expected. 
Macy and Wes continually play a game called Truth, where one gets to ask a question and the other must answer it truthfully.  As the game progresses, they learn more and more about each other and themselves. 
It is an inspiring book.  It tells you that no matter what your past is, you are the only person who can determine your future, your forever.
