Paper Towns is a book filled with adventures and mystery. This book has a mix of comedy and mystery and is written in a diary-like point of view. The characters in the book are all in high school so many of us could relate to some of the scenarios. Quentin or 'Q' is our protagonist he lives a very uneventful life, or normal in other words. He is very interested in Margo Spiegelman who is the opposite of everything Quentin is. Margo is the girl who was known for loving memories  "she loved mysteries so much she became one" (Green 1). The whole book is about how adventurous she is and how she loves leaving clues every time she runs away.  The main plot structure is Quentin and his friends unraveling the clues Margo has left behind. Q's best friend Ben added drama to the plot, and most readers can relate to having a friend like him.  Radar, Q's other best friend is a very intellectual being and mature for his age. In the second half of the book, we get to know Lacey, a former popular person, helps in to find Margo.  I could see how necessary she was to solve the mystery. towards the end. I think a big theme of this book was false perceptions Quentin spends most of the book looking at Margo as an ideal or flawless object until he realizes "Margo was not a miracle. She was not an adventure. She was not a fine and precious thing. She was a girl" (Green 230). I think a lot of teenagers could relate to this book because it's not always about what you have, or how "cool" you are everyone is the same at the end of the day we all have goals, feelings, and ideas. Overall the book was really good and I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in teen fiction and mysteries
