When Love Comes to Town by Tom Lennon
This book is the first American release of a popular British book. Neil Byrne is your average Irish guy, a rubgy star who has snogged with girls in the in-crowd. Neil has a secret though, he's gay and has not come out to his religious family or friends yet. He wants to go out to a gay bar and find the courage to ask out the guy Ian he has had a crush on for years. This book is an amazing example of how far society has come in the treatment of gay, lesbian, and transgender people.
