Ready Player One Review

Steven Spielberg always seems to intrigue his audience with all different types of movies; BFG, West Side Story, Indiana Jones, Jaws, Jurassic Park and that's just the name of a few. Ready Player One is no exception. It blew his audience away from the relevance to current life and realistic graphics.

Ready Player One is about a future world on the verge of collapse. to get away from the terrors of the real world, the citizens will get away into the Oasis(Virtual Reality), A fictional world created by James Halliday. When Halliday dies he creates these games and challenges in his world. The prize says whoever finds the keys in the digital easter eggs to all three challenges gets complete control over the Oasis and inharriate all of Hallidays money. Wade Watts, a 24 year old, goes looking for these keys. Him finding the evil in people through the Oasis brings people attacking him in the real world.

This movie seemed to have hit the hearts of gamers and teenages most relating to the real world right now With development about technology while adding some older types of games intertwined into the action packed film. The characters in The Oasis can be anything you imagine, Some people in the movie choose characters from Call of Duty or Characters from the late 1990s. The relevance of making this about real world life and how technology is taking over and advancing not just the technology but the development of us humans. This movie may be set in 2045 but it felt as a mirror image of the world we live in.

This movie isn't just about technology and gaming, this is also a hint of love interests(Wade and Samantha) and a mystery trying to solve the puzzle of getting rights over the Oasis. The crime and wrong to the children in the movie because people want power, while the kids want the rights of the Oasis in the right hands.

This movie will warm all the hearts of anyone who watches this. The eagerness and frustration of wanting the brave kids to earn the prize but not knowing if it will ever happen. The action of the movie pushes it over the edge with the animations and the graphics feeling as it comes at your face feeling as if in the movie. This movie is what blows every other movie away.

When writing this piece It was for a class but learning more about the director and learning about the details of the movie. It made me more invested in writing a review for this phenomenal movie.
