Welcome to girlhood! Where popular highschool girls rule around the school. Mean Girls is a satire film, with hilarious dialogue. Mean Girls is about a new girl first year in highschool that came across a group of popular girls in school greeted to join them. The popular girls are known as “the plastic'' around North Shore High School. As a mean girl you had to follow rules like “On Wednesday We Wear Pink” or else you weren’t allowed to sit with them! Lead to girl drama spiraling around boys and girls in North Shore high school into a wild disaster. I believe that Mean Girls is a funny drama film to watch.

Mean Girls was inspired by a book called “Queen Bees and Wannabes” written by Rosalind Wiseman then after being inspired by the book later on written in April 30, 2004 as a film by Tina fey that was directed by Mark Waters. The main character in this film is a teenage girl named Cady Heron, as well as Janis the friend and her other friends Regina, Karen, Gretchen and Damian that in the end had a conflict. Cady's character is based on Identity. I feel that she is trying to find who she is based on her character development as a girl in high school. The acting for Cady Heron character made me feel that she did a great role as the main character in a new environment in high school with a bunch of new faces. How this film ends and about Cady she seemed to show how she evolved around her girl friends and true friends finding the real her after everything.

This satire film will leave you feeling like a highschool student again if you're an adult watching this film. But if you're a highschool student you might relate to the specific scenes and plots in this film. I personally would watch this movie again, the setting reminds me of school. Even though this film came out in 2004, It’s still a great comedy movie to watch with friends. Mean Girls has won at least four MTV awards for best duo and best breakthrough performance as well as Best female performance. Along with teen choice awards and BMI film music awards cast by Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Mcadams, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan and Daniel Franzese.

This movie is great for teens like middle schoolers to high school as well as adults too. It's humorous and funny, for a comedy drama film. Overall I would highly recommend this movie for young teenagers and adults, a movie to watch and let out a laugh with friends. This movie is a must see and a classic popular film a lot of people know about. Not only is this comedy, but also can be relatable to some of us in high school and out of school.

This writing piece was a fun and interesting piece to write. It was challenging for me trying to ace this writing piece. But what it did help with is improve my writing skills than before and I hope to get more better at it.
