Cloverfield
Cloverfield was a stupid thriller wannabe, with constant first-person view from a camera. The lighting in the movie is really good, but that is about the only positive thing I can say about the whole movie. The gore is just like the realism, a minimum, but there is still blood in the movie. Cloverfield is not a movie for the motion-sensitive. I say this because of the first-person camera. The camera is actually a camcorder. This, in my opinion, was a horrible choice by the director. The camera is one of the things that ruined the movie.
Cloverfield is also very unoriginal. It’s about a monster that is terrorizing New York. That doesn’t sound like a movie from the 30’s that has been remade a bunch of times, does it? Cloverfield is a waste of money; rent it when it comes out on DVD. Don’t buy it whatever you do. I give Cloverfield 12 a star.
This movie is PG-13
