The Lookout
When robbing a bank, what is the most important job? That would be the lookout of course. Their main job is to watch for suspicious action that would threaten their entire plan. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays the main character in “The Lookout”. He plays a kid whose life was flipped upside down after a tragic car accident. He can’t remember much after the crash and has a hard time remembering what he did the day before. He writes down everything so he knows what to do at a specific time. Chris Pratt (Gordon-Levitt) has a job as a janitor at a bank. He suddenly gets caught up with the wrong people and is thrown into a plan to rob the bank. He has to choose whether to stop the plan or go along with it.
This movie is full of action as well as some romance. The movie is rated R for language, violence, and some sexual content. It isn’t a movie for the younger viewers. The movie shows how a young adult deals with his problems and how he grows throughout the movie. He has to grasp life and hold onto it to survive. For all the people who like action-packed films, this one is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
