Hardball MAG
WhenI saw the previews for "Hardball" I knew it was a movie I had to see.
Keanu Reeves stars as Conor O'Neill, a character with a huge moneyproblem from losing sports bets. An old friend offers him a job as the coach of avery poor baseball team from the slums of Detroit for $500 dollars a week.O'Neill is hesitant at first, but has no choice but to take the job after hislife is threatened by the bookies.
The baseball team is disorganized andunskilled, but after Keanu builds a relationship with them, they start to listento him and play well. The team has a bunch of very funny kids who make the moviedelightful even if you are not a baseball fan.
The ending is the saddest Ihave ever seen in any movie. I saw it in the theaters and there were tissuessoaking up tears in everyone's hands. I have to admit I was a little teary, too.
This is a perfect movie; it makes you experience every emotionpossible and is very enjoyable.
