When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go .Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell
Billie Ellish came into the public eye at just 16 years of age. Now at age 18 Billie Ellish has won 5 micograms at this year's 61th Grammy’s 2020. This includes best pop vocal album, best album, best record, beset song, and finally best new artist. Billie was also nominated for a sixth grammy for best pop solo performance. All of these awards were won from her album When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go, and her song “Bad Guy” Not only did she win 5 grammys, but so did her brother, and bestfriend Finease O'Connell. Together they make hit songs all sung by Billie Ellish, and produced by Finease O'Connell.
The 12 songs in Billie Ellishe’s album When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go are unique, each and every single one of them. Whether it’s because of their visual preference in the music videos, unique sounds incorporated into the music, or even just the message behind the songs. In “Bad Guy '' when Billie says the simple word “duh '' it took her 34 takes to find just the right one. Along with this Finease adds other sounds to add to the music. Once again in the song “Bad Guy” the main sound is a bit of a remix to the theme song of “Wizards of Waverly Place”.
The best song from this album is clearly the song “Bad Guy”, because of its unique sounds, visual work in the music video, and of course Billie’s iconic voice that is similar to ASMR. I rate this album a 10 out of 10. This album is full of words that people can understand, and describe what people can relate too. Her music helps her fans realize there not alone and other people are going through the same things you are going through, that there thinking what you are thinking, and feeling what you are feeling. Maybe not exactly, but definity in a similar way. In that way and that way even by itself is why people love Billie Ellish, and why she is one of the most important icons of today's youth, and even of all ages.
