Oh Love by Green Day
After much anticipation Green Day has released a new song called Oh Love. The song while long and repetitive is game changer. Its typical rock song structure is perfectly blended with Billie Joe Armstrong's vocals. It goes more deeply into Green Day's writing ability. The song is more up lifting then the content of 21st Century Breakdown. I was surprised when I heard the song for the first time. It's lack of politically charged lyrics was a treat. After albums of politically charged music it's nice to listen to something that is more meaningful and pleasant
