All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor
"All About That Bass" is Meghan Trainor's new hit Single, released by Epic Records in 2014. Trainor's song pairs a catchy tune and rythm with a focus on girls' body images, sending the message that "every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top", and that size doesn't matter.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Meghan tells about her process of developing the song: "Let's just write a great song for the world". Later, Trainor informs us that fans who heard All About That Bass and were formerly self-conscious about their body image now send her fan mail telling her: "Forget it, I'm just going to love myself."
Meghan Trainor's new tune is not only appealing in its musical sense, but is also quite influental on many of the girls who have heard her song.
