Legend of Everfree (Main Title) by Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Pinki
The Legend of Everfree is a song by the My Little Pony Gang. Specifically its by Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy. They created song that is very motivational. The song begins with the ponies talking about how your legacy can be left behind. It then says,” Will your story be told or remain a mystery?” (Twilight sparkle line 2). This line really sends the message through. People often fall through the cracks of life so to speak, and make no real difference to society or humanity. This song encourages people to seize the day and make a difference like the message in Dead Poets Society. The rest of the verse continues to reinforce this message. At the chorus the lines “as you join the legend of everfree” (Apple Jack 6). This line shows the supportive group which the ponies are a part of. Joining the group allows for people to become impactful and do something great with help from others. This Chorus is also quit catchy and will have anyone singing through out the entire day about joining everfree. The song continues to be amazing with a strong second verse. This verse continues the same themes but in a new and interesting way. This verse also talks about defeating your enemies. The line, “Will you make your mark? Will you conquer what you fear?” (Rainbow Dash 10). This shows how some people change the world through conquering their fears. People need to standup to what they fear and this song motivates people to do so. Then the Chorus comes again. (See previous review above) A new verse comes which is longer than the others. These lines repeats the same a before. The same feeling of conquering your demons and having others tell your story for years to come. Then a final chorus comes to secure the message and leave everyone feeling good. In conclusion this song is very positive and give people a good message and a new way to be motivated. I can see myself listening to this song while in the Gym or when I need the positive encouragement.
