Jersey Shore
There are more reality shows being aired on national T.V. than ever. Due to our border line drama-obsessed society, these shows are thriving. One show in particular that has become very popular is, Jersey Shore. After wasting four hours of my life and losing a couple of I.Q. points watching this show, I came to a conclusion. Jersey Shore is an offensive, inappropriate and utterly useless show.
Jersey Shore is one of the most popular shows on television. Why, I truly do not know. This show consists of eight slutty, conceited, and superficial Italian men and women. It seems that their main goal in this show is to party as much as they can without reaching alcohol poisoning as well as having sex with as many strangers as possible. The men and women are required to work a certain amount of hours in probably the hardest places they will ever work in: ice cream shops, coffee shops, family owned retail stores and carnivals.
The first thing that comes to mind to many teenagers after hearing the word Italian is Jersey Shore. As an Italian American, this deeply offends me. The eight men and women on Jersey Shore have mislead Italian Americans as stupid, slutty and shallow partiers. Italians are nothing like these eight morons, we are the exact opposite: respectful, honest, trustworthy, intelligent, and kind people. They have created a false stereotype for me and my fellow Italians.
Jersey Shore is an extremely inappropriate show for the boys and girls entering their young adulthood. These kids are confused with what path they should take during their transition to their adult lives. They will watch this show thinking if they do the same thing they will also become cool and popular, leading them into a destructive life. Jersey Shore will teach these kids nothing but how to become slutty, shallow, and stupid.
If you have taste and more than three I.Q. points, this show is not for you. There is absolutely no point to this show. I’m surprised anyone can even sit through one episode, more or less an entire season, but these shows are made for certain type of people. So what if you dress and act like the cast of Jersey Shore, you are not alone.

I definetly agree with you! i am 13 and Jersey Shore is all the rage at my junior high! I hate it, and have been insulted for hatiit-but I do! I have many Italian friends that are not vapid, shallow, idiotic, or slutty and I will never waste time watching this garbage!
Thank YOU!!!!
