Of all the crime solving shows on television, "Burn Notice" will always be a favorite of mine. Anyone who enjoys a good action packed TV show with an intriguing story line will surely fall in love with "Burn Notice". It has everything: A fascinating plot, romance, action, and even comedy. Although this show sounds to good to be true, it does have some downfalls as well.


This television show is about a spy who was burned by the government due to the fact that he was being framed for many crimes that he did not commit. Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) and his friends take small jobs in the community to help pay the bills. Yet the main focus behind it all is seeking out who burned Michael Westen.


It's difficult to even find faults with this TV show. However, there were a couple things that I think could have been improved during the shows seven seasons. In my opinion I think that they should have revealed who burned Michael way earlier. I believe that there were too many episodes solely about the clients that Michael and his friends were working for, and not enough of the background story.


"Burn Notice" is not just all about explosions shootings and strategies. There is a lot of emotion in the show that many people can relate to. Such as the trials Michael faces with his mother, brother, and deceased father. Michael and his team care deeply about predicaments that their clients find themselves in. They always seem to build an emotional connection with the clients.


"Burn Notice" teaches many important lessons, not just how to make a homemade bomb. They teach the significance of family and friends. As well as the importance of building trust. "Burn Notice" had me hooked after one episode and kept me wanting more. I would recommend this show to anyone who enjoys a dramatic and exciting story line, mixed with a good balance of humor and romance.
